Special concert by two music groups will start at 2 weeks of southeastern Illinois College George t. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center lobby.
Southern Illinois University String Quartet will perform classical music, and new art Jazztet will play jazz music. Both would later appear as Jazztet with art new strings together.
The Quartet begins with a choice of three classic, followed by three numbers and then six jazz songs from two combined band.
SIU Quartet composed of the Faculty of SIU School of Music. It performs Chamber music and perform most often as part of the Chamber Music Society of Southern Illinois. Members are Michael Barta on violin, Victoria Moore on fiddle, violin and Jacob Tews on Eric Lenz cello.
